This definition indicates that the project manager needs to possess a specific skill set, competencies and experience to deliver such a requirement. The PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOUNDATION Course will introduce you to the Project Management industry and allow you to get familiar with the lifecycles, knowledge areas, process groups and special tools and techniques.

Course Overview

This definition indicate that the project manager need to poses a specific skill set, competency and experience to deliver such a requirement. The PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOUNDATION Course will introduce you to the Project Management industry and allow you to get familiar with the lifecycles, knowledge areas, process groups and special tools and techniques.

The course content is based on the best practice standard of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) fifth edition as well as the ISO Standard for Project Management.

Course Audience

Due to the nature of the course and the intention to introduce you to the industry and the basic concepts, this course target those who are stepping into the industry without any prior knowledge as well as those who are currently involved as part of project teams in any roll and would like to gain the correct understanding of the industry.

The course is class room based, presented in a group setting and will focus on all the required theory as summarized from the PMBOK® as well as the execution of a case study in a small group environment and practical presentations of the outcomes from the small group exercises.
